No Cook Oatmeal

Here has been my favorite breakfast lately, it is super simple. You probably all already eat this amazing breakfast and might laugh at this post, but I love it so I will post it. Here is my breakfast of champions, I learned it from Raw Melissa. By the way I love Melissa and her recipes, her desserts are the best. But I digress pour almond milk on oats, a little honey, a little kefir (optional), a little coconut oil, cinnamon, fresh fruit, and chopped nuts and there you have it fast and easy breakfast.

Hardly worth an entire post, but I have been loving this breakfast, no cooking, and a quick breakfast packed with fiber, probiotics, and yummy . The thing I like about it is tastes lighter and fresher than cooked cereal perfect for summer, and I like the fact that oats sticks with me longer than most breakfasts. I still like my green smoothies, but have been having them later on in the day, because I don’t want to run the blender super early and wake up my kids.

Quick Tip: Did you know that coconut oil speeds up your metabolism? They did a blind study on two groups of people. One group didn’t change a thing in their diet and just replaced all cooking oils with coconut oil. The other group just used the same oils that they had been using before. The group that replaced all cooking with coconut oil started loosing weight, without changing one thing! As for the other group they remained the same. The reason why the first group started loosing weight is that coconut oil speeds up your metabolism. Coconut oil is metabolized different than other fats, it is processed like a carbohydrate, which means it converts to usable energy accelerating your metabolism….I could go on and on about how awesome coconut oil is, you will just have to come to my whole foods made easy classes to learn more!

Here is my favorite coconut oil, it has the best taste and best price that I have found.

    Can we use any oats from the store? Or are they some sort of special oat? I’m not saying instant oats, but could I use an off brand oat? Like the ones that come in the round canister
