Homemade Kettle Corn

Kettle corn is such a great snack, easy to make, tastes great, and is good for you (that is hard to come by sometimes).  This kettle corn is done in three easy steps and makes a great big batch perfect for a family movie night, or taking it to a holiday get together.

This recipe was given a make over- to include  coconut oil  and agave.  The coconut oil gives it such a good flavor, and speeds up your metabolism, and the agave won’t give you that nasty sugar roller coaster of highs and lows.  My mom makes this recipe  a lot for the grand kids, they love it.  Sometimes she sneaks in a few colored sugar sprinkles for the holidays, grandmas are allowed to do that.

    Is this as good with honey? I’ve read some things about agave that aren’t great, and I stopped using it. What’s your take on agave? Thanks!

      Hi Aubri!

      Honey would work great! I have read a lot about agave as well and I am on the fence. I don’t use it very often anymore and tend to use more honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and even white and brown sugar.

  4. OK. I just bought one. I hope the low price isn’t for getting rid of the leftover stock of the older design. Still a good deal anyway, though.
