Blendtec Twister Jar GIVEAWAY/Unconventional Kitchen on t.v.

I just had a blast going on Studio 5. They asked me to try out a yogurt making kit and show how to make home made yogurt. You can check it out here: Studio 5 segment.

A funny side note. I almost missed my whole segment. I was on my way to Studio 5 and a semi got stuck in the snow, blocking the entire road!!! I couldn’t go around him and I couldn’t back up. I called Jane, the producer, and met her in the parking lot. We ran up to the studio and I was on within 15 minutes!

GIVEAWAY TIME………….

To celebrate the success of the program, I decided to do a giveaway. I couldn’t decide what………so you get to choose!

To help you stick with your healthy goals this year we are giving away:

A Blendtec Twister jar (I LOVE MINE)

OR

A Yogurt kit: a traditional yogurt start, mild yogurt start, yogurt maker, and thermometer – everything you need to make homemade yogurt.

Winner will get to decide which one, because I can’t; they are both fabulous!

My whole family is addicted to the gluten free chocolate chip & coconut cookies. We make them w/ coconut oil and cut the total sugar by more than 50%, and they all still say they’re sweet enough. Guess the coconut oil adds enough sweetness. Thanks for a great recipe!

  3. Sarah Reinwand says:

I would LOVE a twister jar! My favorite Unconventional Kitchen recipe is the Lime Kissed Blackberry Muffins! I have made them many times. We have made all sorts of variations: lemon blueberry, lime raspberry, lime mixed berry. It is an awesome recipe. And since I’m here, I will also say that anytime I’m in a cooking slump my husband says, “Why don’t you try another one of Desi’s recipes?” We all know you have great ideas and everything you suggest is delicious!

Just use up what I already have and don’t buy it again was great advice. Also, I was so overwhelmed on where to start that this was very helpful. I think change is easier to accept when it is gradual rather than making a fast change and regretting it. I think your recipes are great!! Thanks

My favorite recipe from your site is the Peanut Butter Bliss Balls or Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies. I used this recipe as my fueling food for my MTB training for the Leadville 100 last summer. These little bars saved me and gave me the energy and boost I needed during the many hours of training and in completing my race under the allotted time of 12 hours. I thank you personally. I choose this treat over all the bars you can buy at the store.
